Manchester City, can you do me a favour and lose to Paris Saint-Germain? Otherwise I don’t have a book signing to coincide with the fortieth anniversary of Saints winning the FA Cup. WATCH for more details–>
Not long now until the book comes out, here’s a little teaser video….
I interviewed Lawrie McMenemy for my Bobby Stokes book. We met at the Potters Heron – I’m sure many Saints fans will know the significance of that venue. In the meantime you can watch me waffle on about the experience of meeting Lawrie in this video.
You can pre-order the book on Amazon now. Official book release is Monday 2 May, but stay tuned for more information about a book signing at St.Mary’s on Sat 30 April.
Vote for the Bobby Stokes book cover!
Pitch Publishing have four different front cover designs for the Bobby Stokes book. You can vote for the one you like the best. The cover with the most votes will be used for the book. Before you have a look you can listen to me in the video below with my two cents worth.
Which one do you like best?
Which cover do you like best? Option 1, 2, 3 or 4? Let me know by leaving a comment below. And if you have any Saints supporting friends then share this with them so they can choose their favourite.
On Wednesday I was invited to the Southern Daily Echo to meet sport editor Simon Carter and photography archivist Jez Gale, who helped me source some photographs for the book. Thanks to Simon and Jez for being such great hosts and being so helpful. Here’s a quick video showing some other photos from the celebration of the FA Cup Final in 1976.
